Can someone below 18 get lip fillers in Melbourne?
For people below the age of 18, we require the permission of their guardian or parent before they can get lip fillers near our Point Cook clinic, Melbourne. The guardian or parents must also be present during the consultation.
Will the treatment hurt?
Like any other injection you may have been administered, a lip filler, when injected, will only feel like a pinch. You may also feel a little stinging when the filler is being injected. Once administered, you may notice some bruising. However, we provide topical numbing creams that you can apply at the site of injection to numb out any pain or stinging.
How often can one undergo the procedure?
Once you have had a procedure at our Melbourne clinic for lip injections, you need to wait about 6-12 months before you get a follow-up procedure.
Is there a downtime to the procedure?
While the procedure for getting lip injections near our Point Cook clinic, Melbourne, only lasts about 15-20 minutes, you may notice some swelling and bruising, which may last up to a week. Applying ice to the area will help subside the swelling. You will also need to avoid strenuous activities for about 2 weeks after the procedure.
