Vascular lesions are caused by enlarged or broken blood vessels and can take many forms all over the body, from rosacea and port wine stains to spider veins and rosacea. While these lesions may not cause any serious health problems, they can negatively affect your self-esteem, especially when they form on a noticeable part of your body, such as your face.

Now, you can vanish even the veins you can’t see! Clear V laser vein removal offers unmatched results for vascular lesions, leaving you with healthier looking skin and more confidence in your appearance.

Clear V uses unique integrated vein illumination technology to restore your skin tone and colour. As the laser passes over your skin during treatment, the heat will be absorbed by the damaged blood vessels. This will collapse them, meaning that blood can no longer flow freely through. Once the vessels are deemed useless, the body will begin breaking them down and gently eliminate them from the upper layers of your skin’s surface.

Prior to treatment, your specific skin concerns will be discussed, and your history reviewed to ensure you are a suitable candidate for Clear V. Dr Saber will then prepare the areas to be treated and give you a pair of goggles to wear as eye protection. During treatment, you may experience short “rubber band” snap sensations, followed by some mild warmth. Treatments should not take any longer than an hour, however this will depend on the area/s being treated.

Areas that Can Be Treated

Clear V can be used to treat

  • Broken capillaries
  • Spider veins
  • Telangiectasia
  • Facial veins
  • Leg veins
  • Rosacea
  • Port wine stains
  • Warts
  • Skin tags

Following a Clear V treatment, you can expect the vessels underneath your skin to change colour, going from dark blue to dark red. However, most patients can expect to see improvements within two to six weeks.

Impressive results can be seen with just one treatment, however subsequent treatments spaced four to six weeks apart may be required depending on the number of vessels, the character of the vessels and your body’s healing capabilities. For instance, smaller areas such as the nose will likely require fewer treatments in comparison to larger areas and excessive dilated capillaries. Dr Saber will let you know how many treatments he recommends at your initial consultation. It is unlikely that your veins will return once they have disappeared, however it is possible, meaning that additional treatments may be required in the future.
