BBL and Halo WITH DR SABER

Anti-wrinkle injections model 02, Dr Saber clinic

Are you looking for the ultimate skin makeover? For beautifully rejuvenated skin, combine our ever-popular BBL™ Skin rejuvenation treatment with the Halo Hybrid Fractional Laser. Together, these treatments can help target several concerns, from uneven skin tone to textural irregularities like scarring, wrinkles and fine lines.

BBL & Halo Treatment EXPLAINED

When combining these two treatments, you will usually begin with a session of BBL™ skin rejuvenation. As the device is passed over your skin, you may experience a short zap sensation, similar to being flicked repeatedly by a rubber band. Afterwards, you may notice some mild warmth or tingling, however, this usually only lasts a moment.

Before your Halo laser treatment, Dr Saber will apply a topical numbing anaesthetic to your skin to ensure your comfort during the procedure. To ensure your skin is treated evenly, Dr Saber will measure the treated area with motion tracking technology. He will then uniformly roll the Halo handpiece over your skin until the device recognises the treatment is complete. Many patients describe Halo treatments as generally comfortable, although you may experience some heat and the occasional prickling sensation.

Following your BBL and Halo treatments, you may notice some redness in the treated area and feel a hot, sunburnt like sensation for up to 30 minutes. Dr Saber will apply some post-laser products to your skin, which you must continue to use at home during the healing process for best results.

Halo laser treatments usually involve around four to seven days of downtime, depending on the intensity of the treatment and your skin condition. You may experience some swelling, moderate redness, brown spots, dryness, and flaking of the skin during this downtime.

Areas that Can Be Treated

BBL & Halo Laser can be used to treat

  • Reduction of pigmentation
  • Reduction of redness and broken vessels
  • Even skin tone
  • The “Halo glow”
  • Improved skin health
  • Reverse signs of ageing
  • Reduction of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Scar reduction
  • Reduction in appearance of pore size
  • Improvement in skin texture

RESULTS BBL & Halo

You will see initial results between two and five days after your BBL and Halo treatments. However, as your collagen production continues to increase, your results will improve over the following months.

Your Halo results will last for years to come, but you should always continue to use broad-spectrum SPF50+ sunscreen to protect your new, healthy skin. Most people will elect to repeat the treatment on an annual basis.

The number of Halo Laser and BBL™ Skin Rejuvenation treatments will depend heavily on various factors, including your concern, skin condition and ethnicity. Often as little as just one to two treatments are all that is required to see significant improvement in skin quality. Dr Saber will advise a suitable treatment plan during your consultation.

This combination treatment is best suited to patients looking for the ultimate skin makeover and struggling with fine lines, wrinkles, scarring, enlarged pores, textural imperfections, pigmentation, sun damage, redness, and dull/lacklustre skin.
